About Andrea Goodwin
Andrea graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from Saint Louis University School of Business. Passionate about supporting community-based programs, she initially focused on Museum Fundraising and Education.
She held positions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Huntington Library and the Western Heritage Museum. She put her excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work, honing them through daily interactions with museum patrons, visitors and the general public.
Andrea discovered her niche in real estate while relocating from Los Angeles to Sacramento in 2004. She realized during her move how much she would enjoy helping people sell a much-loved home to the right buyers, get the best deal and find the next place to call home. It turned out to be the perfect way to combine her education, training and special talents with her love for houses, design and helping people.
Andrea's outstanding interpersonal and communication skills have become her hallmark. She has built a career in real estate by placing her clients' needs first. There is no one who can better prepare and stage a home for sale, both inside and out. She has the expertise and resources to help her clients show their homes in the best possible light.
Andrea loves spending time with her family. She enjoys the arts, landscaping and gardening, exercising with friends, practicing her culinary skills and exploring everything Northern California has to offer.
ANDREA ON RAISING A FAMILY IN SACRAMENTO
"Nationally, it is becoming known as the "farm to fork" Capitol, and Sacramento is also a wonderful place to raise a family. I should know, I've done it. Along the way, I've gained insights into locations of the best schools, safest neighborhoods and more—information I can't wait to share with you."
ANDREA ON THE STRESSES OF BUYING AND SELLING
"Buying or selling a home can be one of the most exciting things you do. This doesn't mean there isn't any stress. It can be overwhelming due to all of the uncertainty at almost every significant step in the process: what will the inspection show? will the appraisal be high (or low) enough? how many times will I have to clean house in advance of a showing? will I get a mortgage? These and many more opportunities will arise for you to take a deep breath, trust in the process and let Goodwin+O'Callaghan do your homework for you. As my clients will attest, I'm also pretty good at hand-holding."
